Injury Report: Groat faces stint on the sideline

Matt Groat faces a stint on the sidelines with an ankle injury sustained in the round 1 loss to the Falcons.

Groat will be getting scans this week and will consult with Seagulls medical staff on an expected return date.

Jordan Drew has been named on an extended bench to make his Seagulls’ debut this weekend after successfully returning from a knee injury.

Drew hurt his knee in the second preseason trial match against the Capras and will lineup on the wing in his return.

Lachlan Lee is also back on the field this weekend in BRL A Grade after rehabilitating an elbow injury which caused him to miss all of the preseason trials.

Moses Pangai is still recovering from a shoulder injury from the Brisbane Broncos trial match and is expected to return to the field in rounds 4-8.
