Wynnum Manly welcomed the Western Clydesdales and Ipswich Jets as opponents on Sunday to BMD Kougari Oval.
In addition, the Souths Logan Magpies and Western Clydesdales also played their BMD Premiership match on their day, with Souths winning 20-16.

Our BMD Premiership girls were looking for their 2nd win of the season and took on the Ipswich Jets at 12pm.
Charlotte Vandermeer scored our opening two tries and then Indee Brown grabbed one just before the break. Seagulls trailled 16-14 at the break.
Cortez Te Pou and Charlotte Wells scored in the second half, and the girls had 3 minutes to try to level the scores as they trailed 28-22.
However, that’s where the score remained, as our girls but in a courageous effort against a more-fancied team.
Hostplus Cup was up next at 2:10pm in the feature match of the round, our third free broadcasted match in a row at home.
Our Seagulls opened the scoring as Tieran Ross bumped away from his opposite number and made a break to pass to Chaz Jarvis, who passed to Liam Sutton.
Sutton had a double a few minutes later after a dummy close to the line, he dragged two tacklers over the line to put the Seagulls up 10-0.
Garry Tuilekutu, in his 2nd Hostplus Game, scored out wide for the Seagulls 3rd. He received the ball from Kalolo Saitaua and still had work to do, beating the opposite winger and centre in a 12m run to the line.
After the Seagulls conceded, Chaz Jarvis forced a dropped ball from the kick off. Off the ensuing scrum, Cooper Roberts received the ball through hands on the right wing and cut back in to beat 6 players to the line.
Seagulls led 20-6 at half time.
The second started with a bang for the Seagulls as debutant Cassius Cowley dummied and scored on the left edge.
The Clydesdales scored a 90m try against the run of play to stay in the game, however the Seagulls continued their dominance to finish off the game.
Kalolo Saitaua finished off an 85m try as Cassius Cowley stepped of his left foot to break the line and pass outside to Saitaua, who finished the final 50m and beating two would-be tacklers.
That put the Seagulls up 30-10 with 17 minutes remaining.
Jordan Grant closed out the game with a try under the posts, beating two players to dive over the line in the 74th minute,
Final score 36-10. The +26 for and against has pushed us above Norths into 2nd place.
Heading into Country Week at Augathella this Saturday, it is 2nd vs 3rd on the ladder, and a crucial opportunity to solidify a place in the Top 4.
