The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are pleased to unveil Billy Moore as the third special guest to speak at the club’s premier event of 2019, the Seagulls Sportsman’s Dinner.
The 21 game Maroons’ icon will join fellow league legend Brett Finch and event host ‘The Betoota Advocate’.
Moore became the custodian of the famous “Queenslander” call in 1995 when he thundered down the SFS players tunnel prior to the second half of Game One of the 1995 series, screaming “Queenslander!”. Unwittingly by Moore, his passion was caught on TV and has become iconic ever since.
The Sportman’s Dinner will light up the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club on the eve of the Ekka Wednesday public holiday, Tuesdsay 13th of August.
