BMD Premiership Semi Final Details

The Wynnum Manly Seagulls BMD Premiership team will travel to Rockhampton this Saturday to take on the Central QLD Capras.

In their first year in the competition, the Seagulls women’s team finished the regular season in 4th position and go into their semi-final matchup full of confidence.

Development Manager Michael Dobson and Head coach Ron Troutman, and their group of support staff, have done a terrific job to not only build a positive culture within the Seagull’s women’s program, but also have success on the field with a group that has played together for the first time.

The Seagulls have grinded their way through the season, with every one of their seven games being decided by 6 points or less.

Their willingness to stay in the game and continue fighting has led to their opportunity to play in the semi final on Saturday.

We would like the thank the partners of the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls Women’s Program, in particular BMD, Bartons, Job Connect, McDonalds Bayside, Iona College, Queensland X-Ray and Joan Pease MP.

Without the support of our partners, our Women’s Program would not be as successful as it has been this season. We look forward to your continued involvement in our Women’s Program in the future and thank you for your contribution to women’s rugby league at the Seagulls.
