BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are pleased to announce that James Robinson has re-signed for the 2021 season.

The back rower was part of our Hastings Deering Colts grand final team in 2019, and he now has the opportunity to secure a spot in the Intrust Super Cup. 

The Toowoomba product featured in the Wynnum Juniors BRL A-Grade grand final winning team in the 2020 season.

Patrick Templeman has re-signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 season.

The 27-year-old Maroochydore Swans junior debuted with the Seagulls in 2015 and has been a mainstay for the club, playing 86 games and scoring 43 tries.

Templeman will once again play a pivotal role for the Gulls after a blistering 2019 campaign where he scored 11 tries and set up 17 more.

The former Intrust Super Cup Player of the Year is excited and ready to go for his seventh campaign in red and green.

Lachlan Maranta has re-signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 season.

Maranta who most notably spent five seasons with the Brisbane Broncos, brings a wealth of experience to the Seagulls backline.

With 72 NRL games under his belt, Maranta spent 2019 at St George -Illawarra Dragons before joining the red and green ahead of the 2020 campaign.

Maranta is a versatile player capable of slotting in across multiple positions – expect to see ‘Lachie’ bring his ball playing ability to the Seagulls backline next season.

Clayton Mack has re-signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 season.

Mack attended boarding school in Toowoomba, where he played some of his junior football with the Toowoomba Clydesdales.

The 21-year old is a versatile player having played second row and in the centres.

Clayton is looking forward to being a permanent fixture in the Seagulls 2021 Intrust Super Cup team in 2021.

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are excited to announce the signing of Jayden Berrell for the 2021 Season.

The dynamic hooker returns to BMD Kougari Oval after a brief tenure with the Brisbane Tigers in 2020.

Renowned as a tenacious defender, the 25 year-old has made over 1,794 tackles in his Intrust Super Cup career so far.

Away from the football, Berrell is a carpenter who works and lives on the Gold Coast with his young family.

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have re-signed Aaron Rockley for the 2021 season.

Rockley has been a mainstay in the Gulls pack since making his debut for the club in 2015.

After playing Mal Meninga Cup in the Red and Green, the middle forward was a member of the Brisbane Broncos for a number of years.

An established leader of the club, Rockley will be looking forward to making his 100th appearance for the Seagulls in 2021.

BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have re-signed Alex Barr for season 2021, his sixth with the Seagulls.

Debuting in March 2016 Barr has gone on to play over 80 games for the club.

Barr made 584 tackles and averaged over 100 running meters during the 2019 season demonstrating his strength and agility on the field.

A tenacious second rower Barr has a work ethic like no other and he is excited to be back in the red and green for 2021.

Malutoa was named Wynnum’s Hastings Deering Colts players’ player of the year in 2019.

The front rower joins the Gulls from the Canberra Raiders, where he was a member of their 2019 Jersey Flegg U20s grand final side.

A powerful ball carrier, Vaalepu will add to a good list of strong forwards at BMD Kougari Oval.

The 21 year old spent the 2020 season playing for Woden Valley Rams in the Canberra Rugby League competition alongside fellow new recruit Daine Spencer.

BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are pleased have re-signed Tristan Hope for the 2021 season.

Hailing from Toowoomba, 23-year-old Tristan has Rugby League flowing through his veins. A former member of the 2018 Queensland Rangers Rep team, Tristan signed with the Seagulls in 2019 after a season with the Dolphins.

Hope’s strong work ethic at training and on the field has had a positive influence on all his teammates.

Watch for this dynamic utility forward in season 2021.
