Meet the Seagulls at McDonalds for McHappy Day

Seagulls Men’s and Women’s players, as well as players from our affiliate Wynnum Juniors, will be out in force for McHappy Day tomorrow.

In support of our Premier Sponsor, McDonalds Bayside, our players will be at McDonalds Wynnum West and Tingalpa restaurant from 10am – 2pm.

The aim of the day is to raise as much money as possible for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East QLD, helping seriously ill or injured children and their families stay together and close to care while undergoing treatment in hospital.

There are many ways to donate in-restaurant including purchasing a $2, $10 or $50 Helping Hands, $5 Silly Socks or 10c from every 600mL bottle of water & $2 from every Big Mac sold on McHappy Day goes directly to RMHC!

Or show your support for RMHC by donating in the donation buckets, at a Kiosk or through the mymacca’s® app. You can also choose to round up your order total to the nearest dollar at the Drive Thru, Front Counter and at McCafe.

Jack Campagnolo signed for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have signed Jack Campagnolo for the 2021 season.

The 22 year old half joins the Seagulls from the Northern Pride, where he made 28 Intrust Super Cup appearances.

Campagnolo is a skilful half with a strong running game which generated 7 try assists in his first full season of Intrust Super Cup in 2019.

A Tully Tigers junior, Campagnolo works as an electrician away from football.

Harrison Graham signs for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

Harrison Graham has signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 Season.

Graham is a local junior from Iona College, who has come up through the Emerging Seagulls Academy program and joins the Intrust Super Cup squad for 2021.

The hooker/utility was a key player of the successful Wynnum Juniors BRL A-Grade team who defeated the West Panthers in the 2020 grand final.

The 19-year-old is a great competitor and works hard on all aspects of his game.

Harrison’s elevation from the Seagulls Academy to the Intrust Super Cup reflects the Club’s strong focus in developing players from our junior clubs to senior levels of Rugby League.

Luke Bateman Signed for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are excited to announce the signing of Luke Bateman for the 2021 season.

After 10 years in the NRL system, Bateman joins the Seagulls from the Canberra Raiders where he played 71 games at the top level.

The 25-year-old lock returned to Queensland earlier this year after announcing his departure from the Raiders and quickly jumped at the opportunity to join the Wynnum Juniors BRL team, who went on to win the 2020 BRL A-Grade competition.

A true Clubman, Bateman will bring a wealth of experience to the club and will play a pivotal role in the middle for the Seagulls 2021 campaign.

Re-signed Kauri Aupouri-Puketapu for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have re-signed Kauri Aupouri-Puketapu for the 2021 season.

Kauri debuted with the Seagulls in Round 1 of the 2020 season against the Burleigh Bears after joining from the NSW Cup level and captaincy with the Western Suburb Magpies in 2019.

At home in either the halves or at fullback, Kauri has a strong running game and great leadership.

We look forward to seeing Kauri run out in the red and green in 2021.

Devontai Seumanutafa signed for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are excited to announce the signing of Devontai Seumanutafa for the 2021 season.

The 20-year-old front rower joins the Seagulls after spending three years in the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs system.

Originally from New Zealand, Seumanutafa moved to Australia in his youth to attend the strong rugby league nursery Keebra Park State High School on the Gold Coast.

Weighing in at 135kg, Devontai has powerful leg speed and will be an asset to the Intrust Super Cup forward pack.

Lucky Ta’avale is back for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are pleased to announce that Lucky Ta’avale has re-signed for the 2021 season.

Ta’avale worked his way though the Seagulls Academy pathway before returning to the club in 2019 after joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs for a few years.

Debuting for the Intrust Super Cup team in the 2019 Grand Final against the Burleigh Bears, Lucky is looking forward to being a consistent player for side in 2021.

A strong forward, Gulls fans will look forward to Lucky lighting up Kougari Oval in 2021.

Kalolo Saitaua re-signs with the Gulls

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

Kalolo Saitaua has re-signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 Season.

An elite ball carrier, Saitaua recorded 158 tackle breaks in 2019 at a rate of 5.9 per game which was second only to former Gulls fullback Edene Gebbie.

Saitaua was unstoppable in the QRL Intrust Super Cup Esports Challenge earlier this year where he took the Seagulls to victory with a 40-16 win over the Falcons.

The powerful middle forward is recovering from a torn ACL and is working hard to return for the back end of the 2021 season.

Matiu Love-Henry is back for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have re-signed Matiu Love-Henry for the 2021 Season.

Joining the Seagulls from the New Zealand Warriors in 2019, Love-Henry brought a wealth of experience to the club.

The 25-year-old back rower has played over 62 games in the Intrust Super Cup and scored 20 tries.

A noted leader, the Gulls won 81% of games with Love-Henry on the field in 2019 and he was sorely missed when he fractured his ankle on the eve of the finals.

Francis Tualau returns for 2021

In line with our partner McDonald’s Bayside’s “30 Days, 30 Deals” promotion, the Seagulls will be releasing a new signing ‘deal’ each day for the month of November!

Francis Tualau has re-signed with the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls for the 2021 season.

The 26-year-old joined the Seagulls in 2019 after a mid-season transfer from the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs.

The front rower made 10 appearances in the NRL with the Bulldogs and also won the Intrust Super Premiership and National Championship in 2018.

Standing at 187cm and 106kg, and possessing one of the best carries in the Intrust Super Cup, Tualau will bring all important power and grunt to the Seagulls forward pack in 2021.
