Seagulls’ platinum partner, Chemist Warehouse Wynnum and Tingalpa, returned to BMD Kougari Oval with their Kick For Cash on Sunday.
One lucky Gulls fan, Shane, was chosen out of 250 applicants to take three conversions for $5000 cash.
Shane was brought out at half time to kick from 10m out in front of the Chook Pen, supported by the Broncos cheerleaders and Wally, the Chemist Warehouse mascot.
After Shane kicked the first conversion, earning himself $1000, he moved back to 20m and slotted it without hesitation. This earned him $2500!
Shane’s third shot from 30m out on a diagonal would be for $5000 cash.
He lined up the kick, and had it on target, however the ball fell just short of the crossbar.
Shane still walked away with $2500 from our friends at Chemist Warehouse Wynnum and Tingalpa.
Chemist Warehouse also handed out 400 prize packs on the day, so if you managed to get one, we hope you enjoy your goodies!
