Coach Adam Brideson has named a strong team for the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls final trial match this weekend against the Redcliffe Dolphins.
In what will be a replay of the highly emotional preliminary final last year, you know that these two rivals will never leave anything in the tank – even if it is a trial.
With the match being a curtain-raiser to the Broncos and Titans NRL trial there is sure to be a big crowd on hand at Dolphin Stadium to get the final look at both sides ahead of round 1 of the Intrust Super Cup starting in a fortnights time.
For the Seagulls there are a few changes from the side named last week against the Broncos.
Fullback Lachlan Maranta strained a hamstring in warm up last week and misses this match. He is ably replaced by Junior Pauga who gets another opportunity to impress in the No.1 jersey and showcase his versatility.
New recruit Brody Tamarua replaces veteran backrower Matiu Love-Henry who is absent for family reasons. The match presents a great opportunity for Tamarua to push for a starting berth in round one against Burleigh.
