The Seagulls have a fantastic group of local businesses that sponsor the club and support us throughout the season. We rely on sponsorship investment to operate successfully, and allocate this support towards maintaining our facilities at BMD Kougari Oval, player recruitment and welfare, and providing a memorable gameday experience for our fans. We are the biggest sporting club on the Bayside of Brisbane, with a passionate, loyal and valued supporter base in the surrounding suburbs.
In 2023, we will compete in six statewide competitions, including the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership – the highest level of rugby league in QLD for males and females respectively. Additionally, our McDonalds Seagulls Academy consists of the Hastings Deering Colts, Harvey Norman U19s Women, Mal Meninga U18s and Cyril Connell U16s.
We are a community-focused, not-for-profit club, based at BMD Kougari Oval behind the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. As our Major Partner, the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club have over 40,000 members, and see more than a quarter of a million visitors each year, while providing tremendous support for our football club.
We are also proudly affiliated with the Brisbane Broncos, who have one of the strongest supporters bases in the NRL. We will play the Broncos in a trial match in early 2023 to kickstart our season, and also collaborate together on a few events throughout the year.
There is plenty of fun for the whole family at a Seagulls gameday, where we attract the highest average crowd across the QRL competition.
Our sponsors and corporate partners have the best seats in the house in our ‘Birdcage’ area on halfway, with a food and beverage package included.
Sponsors of the Seagulls can expect an increase in brand exposure through our 45,000 strong social media following, frequent appearances on live-broadcasted games, gameday activations, advertising to our supporters and member database, and our club functions including networking events.
