Thank You to Seagulls Women’s Supporters

The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that has supported our BMD Premiership Women’s team this season.

Our girls have done an incredible job, and not just on the playing field, where they made the grand final last weekend.

Off the field, our BMD Premiership team have proudly represented the club at events and public appearances, and trained professionally at every opportunity.

Head Coach Ron Troutman and Female Pathways Manager (and U19s coach) Steve Casey have done a tremendous job to recruit a talented group of players, mixed with NRLW stars and some of the best young rugby league talent in QLD.

The fact that NRLW players have been openly wanting to play at the Seagulls is a testament to the culture that has been developed at our club around the women’s program.

The team’s goal was to go one step better than last season, which they achieved. However, when the girls return in season 2024, their goal will be to win the BMD Premiership competition.

Upon reflection of the 2023 season, the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls would like to extend our thanks to all the players, staff, sponsors and supporters of our BMD Premiership women’s team. Your encouragement and support was felt both in person and across our communications channels, and we hope you’ll be with us again next season.

Our notable women’s program sponsors include: BMD, Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals, TFH Hire Services, Iona College, All Sports Physiotherapy, QLS Group, Moreton Island Adventures, McDonalds Bayside, Place Estate Agents, Queensland X-Ray and Joan Pease MP.
