Following a competition-wide bye the Seagulls return to BMD Kougari Oval this Saturday for Round 15 of the Intrust Super Cup when they’ll take on Central Queensland Capras.

  • Central put in a spirited performance to record a 24-24 draw with the Magpies in Round 14, breaking a run of 12 losses.
  • Centre BJ Aufaga-Toomaga was the star for the Capras, running in two tries and kicking four goals for a personal tally of 16 points.
  • Wynnum have won the last four, and eight of the past nine games, between these two sides.
  • Wynnum’s outside backs have been in exceptional touch in recent weeks. Winger Edwards Burns and fullback Edene Gebbie have crossed for 19 tries between them.
  • Along with Aufaga-Toomaga, the Capras have pace to burn as well with exciting fullback prospect Kainoa Gudgeon having an exceptional season with nine tries already to his name.
