Friday morning saw Seagulls sponsors and guests gather at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club for a networking breakfast supported by Place Estate Agents Gumdale and Manly.
Kate Davies, CEO of Netball QLD, was the special guest of the morning, as she participated in a Q&A discussion with outgoing Seagulls CEO Hanan Laban.
Kate was able to provide incredible insight into her position at the top of netball in QLD, her impressive career which has included roles in politics and with QLD Cricket/Cricket Australia, and also the challenges that the sport of netball faces currently and into the future through expansion.
Guests were also able to ask questions of Kate and relate her experience back to their own businesses and personal lives.
Following Kate’s Q&A, participants were able to network with fellow sponsors in a small team-building exercise.
