After an unprecedented break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls are officially back and Gulls Fans will have plenty to cheer about with the release of the 2021 Draw.
With no games played at BMD Kougari Oval in 2020, Gulls Fans can look forward to enjoying plenty of Saturday and Sunday home games at the renovated Chook Pen, playing field and Wynnum Manly Leagues Club next season.
The Gulls kick off their campaign against the PNG Hunters on Saturday 20 March, who will be based on in South East Queensland during the 2021 season.
A blockbuster match-up is shaping for Round 4, when the Seagulls host the Redcliffe Dolphins on Sunday 18 April, which will be the first home game at BMD Kougari Oval. This will be an enormous community event and more details will be unveiled closer to the match.
Round 10 against the Souths Logan Magpies on Sunday 13 June should also be marked on the calendar of every Gulls Fan.
The Magpies and Seagulls agreed to transfer the home game to BMD Kougari Oval on the eve of the draw release and a special feature match is planned. Details will be released in early 2021.
In addition, the Seagulls are finalising a number of Community Matches that will see games transferred to community venues next season. This will provide the opportunity for Gulls Fans in all parts of the community to watch their team!
With Intrust Super Cup football returning and a lot of exciting match ups in store, the Seagulls are looking to dial up the fan experience to the next level in 2021.
