The Gulls are off to Cairns this weekend and will play the Northern Pride in Round 3 of the Intrust Super Cup. Adam Brideson named his squad today, including an extended bench and the highly anticipated return of Gulls Captain Sam Scarlett.
Scarlett returns to the team in the #7 jersey after missing the first two rounds of competition due to an injury sustained in a pre-season trial.
The rest of the Gulls backline remains unchanged from the team that took the field against Tweed in Round 2.
Aaron Rockley returns from injury and will take his place in the starting forward pack wearing #8. TC Robati (#11) and Issac Luke (#14) will also rejoin the squad
Luke Bateman (#13) is set to start after coming off the bench in the Gulls last game.
The Pride will play at home for the first time this year after a draw against the Capras in Round 2 and a strong win against the Falcons in Round 1.
