The BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls have re-signed 2017 captain Mitchell Frei for the next two seasons.
Frei seemingly enjoyed the leadership role, earning his third Queensland Residents jersey and finishing the season in superb form.
The 25year old was a powerhouse on the left edge for the Red and Green with an average of over 110 run metres gained per match.
The back rower is a graduate from the Brisbane Broncos NYC system and earned an NRL debut in 2016 with the Sydney Roosters. In 2015 he was named the Intrust Super Cup Lock of the Year.
